This Romford project involved the installation of automated five-bar field gates at a residential driveway, combining traditional gate styling with modern electric automation.
The client wanted a secure entrance that maintained the open appearance of a classic field gate design while still allowing convenient remote operation for vehicles entering and leaving the property.
The driveway gates were constructed from solid Iroko hardwood, a durable timber commonly used for exterior gate installations due to its strength, stability and natural resistance to weathering. The five-bar design provides a traditional rural look while still creating a secure entrance to the property.
To automate the gates, a swing gate automation system was installed, allowing the gates to open and close smoothly using remote access controls. Safety devices were also fitted to ensure safe operation around vehicles and pedestrians.
