This Dartford project involved the installation of bespoke automated hardwood driveway gates designed to provide both security and everyday convenience for the property.
The driveway gates were constructed from Iroko hardwood, a premium timber commonly used for external gates due to its strength, durability and natural resistance to weathering.
The warm tone of the iroko timber complements the surrounding boundary fencing while creating a clean, modern entrance to the property.
The gates were installed between solid oak gate posts, providing a strong and durable structure capable of supporting the automated swing gate system while maintaining a natural timber aesthetic throughout the entrance.
To improve both security and usability, the installation also included a built-in letterbox integrated into the gate design, allowing deliveries and mail to be received securely without needing to access the property.
A GSM intercom system was also installed to provide remote access control. This allows visitors to call the property directly from the gate, with the homeowner able to open the gates remotely using their mobile phone.
